• Daiei Denki Kogyo Inc. (DDK) engages in business activities every day as an IT solution provider. In offering goods and services related to our business we are bound to deal with our customers' personal information. We are responsible for taking good care of their personal information as their asset. Therefore all of us who work for DDK act in accordance with Personal Information Protection Management System, treat personal information with accuracy and care, protect information about DDK employees and our work as well as our customers in appropriate ways, and gain trust from all the people.

02. Objectives of Personal Information Protection Management System

1. We collect, use and manage all personal information appropriately based on our Personal Information Protection Management System.
2. We establish codes of conduct and actual rules in order not to let happen unauthorized accesses to, loss, destruction, alteration and divulgation of personal information. We also strive to prevent and correct all wrongdoings regarding personal information protection.

03. Corporate activities

We take action in order to put our basic policy into real practice.

1. All of us working for DDK, including board members, act in accordance with laws, national guidelines and other codes concerning personal information.
2. We appoint Personal Information Protection Manager, give him/her responsibility for managing and authorization to manage Personal Information Protection Management System, and help him/her do the work.
3. We appoint Auditor, who will conduct the internal audit.
4. Based upon Auditor's report we make necessary improvements on internal regulations and operations.
5. We request our partner companies and individuals to cooperate in order to comply with the regulations.
6. We make our basic policy available for anyone to see in our URL (http://www.tectas.jp) or company brochures.
7. We make continuous improvements on our Personal Information Protection Management System.

04. Dealing with personal information

1. About collecting personal information and objectives of using it
   Daiei Denki Kogyo Inc. (DDK) , in obtaining personal information, makes clear the objectives of using it, restricts the areas of using it, and manages it appropriately.
2. Respecting private rights
   DDK respects private rights concerning personal information. When receiving requests for disclosure, alteration and deletion of personal information, and when having complaints and consultations , we comply for a reasonable period and to a proper extent.
3. Taking security measures
   DDK puts internal regulations in place and takes security measures in order not to have any trouble such as letting personal information slip out of the company or falsified.

We use personal information to conduct our main business, IT coordinating services (planning strategic utilization of information & communication systems; procuring information resources; providing and supporting development, testing, implementation and management of information systems) and related business.
2. We use personal information when we receive and check applications for events (seminars et al) related to our products and services.
3. We use personal information when we conduct surveys on our products and services.
4. We use personal information when we contact the customers and send them materials related to the products and services that we deal in.
5. We use personal information when we conduct recruitment activity.
6. We use personal information to maintain proper personnel management at DDK.
7. We use personal information when we respond to requests for its disclosure or when we receive inquiries from the person concerned.
2. About collecting and using personal information in such a way that is not easily recognized by the person concerned.


1. DDK, in receiving a phone call, sometimes records the call to make certain of the customer's requests or needs.
2. At DDK-run mobile phone shops (au shop Himebara, Yogo, Uwajima-warei) personal information in the mobile-phone covenant is temporarily kept. The personal information is used only in the area where mobile-phone sales representative work (a new contract, change of a contract, annulment of a contract, repair, support service et al) is done between the customer and au Head Office, or the cutomer and DDK.
3. When DDK is consigned development of systems or business from a business partner or a cutomer, we also receive personal information with it. We use the personal information only in the area of consigned business.

06. Area in which personal information is used

1. Business partners & commissioned companies
   DDK consigns necessary personal information to business partners and commissioned companies to achieve the objectives. Our basic policy applies to those partners and companies and we make sure that they act in accordance with our policy.
2. Providing a third party with personal information
   DDK will not provide any third party with personal information in our possession without legal imperatives, national guidelines, other regulations, or prior consent from the person concerned.
3. Using personal information outside specified objectives
   DDK will not use personal information outside the objectives specified in our policy without legal imperatives, national guidelines, other regulations, or prior consent from the person concerned.
